Sex and the City
We think this franchise hardly needs an introduction. If for some reason you missed the культ series, start with it. And if you’ve already watched the series with pleasure but didn’t know there are continuation films — thank the ninja for the tip!
The story follows four friends in their 30s conquering New York and regularly sharing their problems with one another. Some say this series can even replace both a psychologist and close friends, though we haven’t tested that theory.

The Spy Who Dumped Me (dir. Susanna Fogel, 2018)
A comedy story about two best friends living in Los Angeles. One day, one of them is visited by her ex-boyfriend who has serious problems. It turns out he was a spy, and the girls instantly get pulled into a fast-paced whirlwind of events, where both the mafia and law enforcement are hunting them.

The Other Woman (dir. Nick Cassavetes, 2014)
A light comedy starring Cameron Diaz. Imagine you meet a respectable man with a stable, well-paying job and pleasant looks. It seems like destiny — but there’s a downside: he’s married. And not only that, he carefully hides his affairs from his wife, and it turns out he actually has several wives.
Through a series of coincidences, all three women meet each other — and then decide to deal with their shared problem together.

Thelma & Louise (dir. Ridley Scott, 1991)
You’re probably familiar with films like “Alien” and “Blade Runner”, but you might have missed Ridley Scott’s road movie about two friends — and that would be a shame.
Thelma and Louise are two women who chose the wrong men and ended up living dull, monotonous lives. After meeting in a bar, they decide to take a trip together to the mountains, but what happens during the journey completely changes their plans. Now they urgently need to get from Oklahoma to Mexico — dealing with plenty of problems along the way.

The First Wives Club (dir. Hugh Wilson, 1996)
Three best college friends reunite about 30 years later. It turns out that each of their lives followed a very similar сценарий: their husbands — men they gave the best years of their lives to and helped build careers — eventually left them for younger women.
Now it’s time to get revenge on the traitors — and to do it beautifully and gracefully.

Book Club (dir. Bill Holderman, 2018)
A film about four women who have been attending a book club for 40 years, discussing different works of literature.
Their lives change dramatically after reading the bestseller “Fifty Shades of Grey” — they instantly remember their youth and decide to bring a little romance back into their lives and find suitable gentlemen.
